This is me
Jacquelyn Carter graduated cum laude from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic media and a communication studies minor with a digital media focus. She was very active at Texas State's radio station 89.9, where she served as a DJ, news reporter, and co-host of the award-winning specialty show "In the Public Interest." She is currently the co-host of "Two and Fro," the podcast dedicated to telling in-depth stories about the southern black woman experience. "Two and Fro" was also recently featured in Google Podcasts Black Voices and Experiences highlights. Jacquelyn currently serves as an outreach coordinator and freelances as a brand manager for companies under her up-and-coming business JustSayJackie. She recently joined the EveryDopeGirl staff, a community that creates a culture of intentional support amongst female entrepreneurs globally, as the Director of Brand Strategy and Engagement. Jackie describes herself as a Beyoncé connoisseur and pop culture expert. In her spare time, she enjoys reading people and books.
